The Sugati story

Sugati is a native Salesforce software solution for the travel sector.

Sugati means Happy Destination.  We chose the name as it reflects our goal in working with our customers, our attitude and approach.

Sugati was developed in response to years of questions and frustrations about technology from a range of sources across the travel sector.  What struck Tin – the technical brains behind Sugati – was that there’s really no need for tour operators and travel agents to suffer these pain points.

Bringing together his own experiences and sharp technical skills with the Salesforce platform, and the expertise of colleagues with years of experience in a range of roles in the sector, the first iterations of Sugati were born.

In February 2016, Sugati soft launched as the leading Salesforce-based end to end enterprise software platform product for the travel sector at Travel Technology Europe – some four years after the first elements of Sugati were first used by tour operators and travel agents.

Already a tried and tested solution, since the soft launch, it’s been enthusiastically adopted by more leading tour operators and travel agents.

The Sugati story is only just beginning – we have a solid development roadmap built on customer requests and also use our years of sector experience to enhance the product and user experience.

We’re confident that a happy destination is set for all.

Sugati is developed and delivered by Appssential, a technology consultancy with 14 years’ expertise.  We provide unique customer-focused solutions, consultancy and support with CRM and digital.

In April 2016, Appssential – a Salesforce CRM partner with expertise in the non-profit sector – merged with Appssential, a consultancy focused on bringing technology and travel sector expertise.

The merge brought together the know-how and resource to focus on Sugati as a flagship native-Salesforce solution for travel agents and tour operators, and in continuing to develop this unique customer-focused solution.

Tin Aung, originally founder and director of Appssential and now Chief Technology Officer for Appssential, and colleagues from across Appssential, use their expertise to inform how we develop Sugati for our travel sector clients.  Together, we anticipate key requirements from customer feedback and our own experience, plan system developments and updates and support clients to succeed with Sugati.  As a result, we provide both a world-class product and helpful support services to help travel agents and tour operators to succeed with technology.

With training a part of our Sugati approach, your team will be set up and ready to roll before you know it. We offer ongoing support services to help you get to grips with your new tools – including user adoption via Tipster, our AppExchange listed user adoption app.
